Outlook

The faceplate has a multicolour LED on the top of battery cover band. The power on-off switch is located on the bottom of unit.

Operational details

1. Used as a record stabilizer: You can power off the static eliminator and use it as a record weight only to conserve the battery power.
2. Power On Self Test (POST) Sequence: The LP static eliminator goes through the POST sequence to make sure all the sensors and components are in working condition after power-on. The multicolour LED on faceplate flashes twice as an indication of POST sequence
3. Heartbeat and power-on indication: The faceplate LED flashes once every 10 seconds to indicate the unit is in standby state and ready for use. You can shake the unit any time and it will reply a LED flash to indicate it is in this state.

Battery level Indication in standby state

The LED flash state indicates the battery power level as described in below:

(1) LED flash once every 10 seconds. The battery power is in working range.
(2) LED flash continuously instead of every 10 seconds. The bettery power is too low. A battery replacement is required.
(3) Do not see the LED flash at all and No LED flash response after shaking. The battery is end of life. A battery replacement is required.

Battery replacement

1. Power off the device before proceeding the battery replacement.
2. To replace the AA battery, you need to unscrew the 2 Phillips screw (on battery cover) and open the battery cover to expose the battery holder.
3. Replace 1 X AA battery in battery holder. You may need a small slot screw driver to remove the battery. Please make the correct polarity when installing battery into battery holder. The positive (+) is on the left side.
4. Put back battery cover and screw the 2 Phillips screws back on.
5. Power on the device and make sure the device goes through POST (Power On Self Test) sequence completely.
