Precision turntable speed measurement (Strobe)
In order to archive real-time precision turntable speed measurement, a state-of-art gyroscope sensor is embedded in this product. By using this product, you can measure and monitoring turntable speed while playing records. The monitoring of turntable speed and precision speed adjustment become very easy and straightforward. The built-in multicolor LED start to flash whenever the deviation rate of turntable speed below 0.3%. The flash of LED is an indication of turntable speed in acceptable range. The scale of speed reading is 0.01 rpm. The accuracy of measurement is +/-0.01 rpm.
For conserving the battery power, the speed measurement feature is turned off by default and can be turn-on or turn-off by simply touching a touch switch on the front panel any time. The OLED display is on when real-time speed measurement is turn-on and the OLED display is off otherwise. You can monitor the turntable speed on the fly by a simple touch. When speed measurement feature in on, the LED indicator is for 0.3% speed accuracy, but not for anti-static treatment indication. The anti-static treatment indicator is the invert color of battery indication bar.
Multi-stage anti-static treatment (Static eliminator)
Most of the record static eliminating products on the market perform anti-static treatment before record playing. They are not effective for the static build-up from record spin. The static electricity can build up more than 3000 volts during spinning record since the record constantly brush the air and cartridge. You can image the impact of static since the typical cartridges outputs are tenth mini volt to few mini volts. The static treatment before record spin is not enough. Our LP static eliminator performs the static eliminating process in two stages:
(1) Start-up static treatment: The LP static eliminator detects the record on the turntable performs the start-up static treatment to eliminate the existing static on the record. This stage takes around 60 seconds. The LED on front panel flashes continuously for 60 seconds in this stage. The LED or battery indication bar serves as anti-static indicator.
(2) Follow-up static treatment: By measuring the static, the embedded micro-controller performs follow-up static treatments during the record playing to minimize the build-up of static electricity on record. When static builds up, the follow-up static treatment kicks in. The LED flashes in a short period and indicates the follow-up static treatment has been activated.
The statics eliminating feature is always on and can only be turn-off by power switch located at the bottom of unit.
Record Stabilizer
Each unit weighs 180g works perfect on the turntables from any manufacturer. The under-layer is made by gel-infused cork that grips the record firmly and also provides excellent vibration damping.
